Samsung S24 vs S23?

My S23's battery life is starting to feel short, and I'm wondering if the S24's battery life is noticeably better for daily use. I'm not a heavy gamer, mostly browsing, social media, and occasional video streaming. Is it worth the upgrade solely for the battery, or are there other compelling reasons I should consider? Also, is the camera a big jump? I take a fair amount of photos of my dog.

The S24 does offer a slight improvement in battery life, but it's not a massive leap over the S23. You'll likely see an extra hour or two, depending on your usage. The camera improvements are more incremental, focusing on better image processing and low-light performance. If your S23 is still functioning well, the upgrade might not be worth it just for the battery. However, the newer processor and slightly brighter display could be additional factors to consider if you plan to keep the phone for several years. For dog pics, the enhanced image processing might be noticeable, especially in indoor lighting.

The S24's main advantages are the slightly brighter screen, a newer processor (Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for some regions, Exynos 2400 for others - research which you'd get), and potentially better battery life. Camera improvements are incremental, mostly software-based. If you find the S23's battery life unacceptable, then the S24 is worth considering. Otherwise, the differences may not justify the upgrade cost.
