Vitamix 5200 vs Ninja Professional Blender?

I mostly make smoothies with frozen fruit and leafy greens. My budget is around $300. Which one handles ice and tougher ingredients better in the long run? I've heard the Ninja can be powerful initially but doesn't last.

The Vitamix 5200 is the workhorse if you're blending frozen ingredients daily. Its motor is designed for that kind of stress. The Ninja Professional Blender is good for softer stuff, but the Vitamix will likely outlast it for frozen smoothies.

The Vitamix will likely last much longer and has a more powerful motor, better for tougher ingredients. If you only do smoothies with soft frozen fruit and occasional soups, the Ninja is probably fine. However, if you plan to blend ice often, or want to make nut butters or flours, the Vitamix is the better choice.

For frequent frozen fruit and leafy green smoothies, the Vitamix's motor and blade design will yield a smoother consistency and likely last longer. The Ninja can handle it, but you might encounter ice chunks and a less refined texture, especially with tougher greens. Plus, the Vitamix is known for its durability, so the investment could pay off in the long run with fewer replacements.
