MacBook Air M3 vs Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon for business use?
My company is letting me choose a new laptop, and I'm torn. Battery life is paramount since I'm constantly on the road presenting to clients. I also need something that can handle fairly large Excel spreadsheets and occasional video conferencing without lagging. The MacBook Air M3 and Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon seem to be the top contenders in terms of portability and performance, but I'm struggling to decide which one would be a better fit for my specific business needs. Price isn't a major issue, but I want the best overall value and reliability for the next 3-4 years.
ThinkPads are built for business. The X1 Carbon has superior keyboard, repair options, and ports. MacOS is nice, but Windows is more enterprise friendly. The Air is great but the Thinkpad is the better business machine.
