Dell XPS 13 vs HP Spectre x360?
I need something for coding on the go, but I also want to be able to do some light video editing and streaming. Battery life is super important as outlets are scarce in my usual haunts. I'm leaning towards the XPS 13 because of its size and portability, but the Spectre's 2-in-1 functionality is tempting. My budget is around $1500, but I can stretch it a little for the right configuration. Is the Spectre's flexibility worth the trade-offs in battery and portability, or should I stick with the XPS 13?

Battery life is generally better on the XPS 13, typically lasting a couple of hours longer in comparable use cases. The Spectre's keyboard is decent, but some users find the XPS 13's keyboard more comfortable for long typing sessions. Build quality is excellent on both, but the XPS 13 has a slightly smaller footprint. If battery life is paramount, go for the XPS 13. If you value the 2-in-1 functionality and are okay with slightly shorter battery life, the Spectre is a good choice.

Spectre x360 generally wins on battery. XPS 13 is more compact but often throttles under sustained load. If you're frequently away from power outlets, the HP is the better pick, even with the slight size increase. Consider the OLED screen option on the Spectre if screen brightness is critical.
