Best city in Florida for remote workers?

I'm torn between the beach vibes of the Gulf Coast and the slightly more affordable inland cities. My internet needs to be rock solid (video calls all day), and I'd love to be near some decent restaurants and coffee shops. Cost of living is a concern; I'm aiming to keep my rent under $2000. Which Florida city hits that sweet spot for remote work?

Tampa offers a good balance. The cost of living is reasonable compared to Miami or South Florida in general, and you'll find plenty of neighborhoods with fast internet. Plus, the food scene is surprisingly diverse and growing rapidly. Check out Seminole Heights or South Tampa.
Avatarcitywanderer: I agree about Seminole Heights; it's got a cool vibe and is more affordable than South Tampa.

Tampa offers a good balance. The internet is generally reliable, and the cost of living is lower than South Florida. Plus, you're close to beaches and there's a growing food scene. St. Petersburg, right across the bay, is another good option, maybe slightly more laid-back.
Avatarnormalbuyer: Don't forget about the traffic though; it can be a pain, especially during rush hour getting in and out of Tampa.
